The "Holidays For Heroes"" project, spearheaded by the Montgomery County Chapter of the Women's Council of REALTORS, will hold it's community kickoff Thursday, September 13, at Town Green Park in The Woodlands, at 10 a.m.

The event will feature dignitaries and civic leaders in a county-wide display of appreciation celebrating our military heroes with the kickoff of this 7th annual program.

Public is invited to attend and show their support to this program that collects and sends essential articles to the military personnel serving in active combat zones. The program ensures that our military forces are remembered and that their contribution to our freedom is greatly appreciated.

THE WOODLANDS, TX - Cunae International School was recently granted authorization to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma Program for year 11 and 12 students. This year, three students began their endeavors to fulfill the requirements of this rigorous program, and are expected to complete the program in May 2014.

THE WOODLANDS, TX - A "Birdies for BridgingApps"" golf tournament will be held on Monday, Feb. 18 at the Palmer Course at The Woodlands Country Club, located at 100 Grand Fairway Drive in Cochran's Crossing The Woodlands. Proceeds will benefit BridgingApps, a program to bridge assistive technology for communication and learning for the county's special needs community.

The tournament begins with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for the closest to the pin and the longest drive, and lunch will be served. The fee is $175 per player, or $600 for a team of four.
