The first wave of residents can now access free wireless Internet service in Shenandoah.
The city has launched Shenandoah Wireless Interface Technology, or SWIFT.

Residents who live along Holly Hill Drive will be the first with the service, and other areas of the city will follow. "We are pleased to be one of the first communities to offer wireless Internet service to residents at no charge,"" Shenandoah City Administrator Chip VanSteenberg said in an announcement of the service.

The initial service started Nov. 26, providing access to 168 homes. Monday, service was made available to another 144 homes. By Dec. 17, availability is expected for every single-family home in Shenandoah west of Interstate 45. Installation of the wireless service hasn't been…

THE WOODLANDS, TX - This week's Luxury Housing Report just came in and we should give a look at it so we get to know what's going on. For starters, the ILHM National Luxury Composite Price was $1,266,086, a price that has been relatively stable in recent weeks.

However, one thing that did change was the average time in the market, which was 168 days, a lesser amount of days than in previous weeks. There was a total of 23,256 luxury homes on inventory all across of the country, of which 2443 are new listings.

The median house size is of 3,301 square feet while the median lot size ranges between 0.50 to 1.0 acre.

THE WOODLANDS, TX - The Woodlands Development Company announced that PetroQuest Energy, Inc. has signed a 13,091-square-foot lease for a regional office on the second floor of One Hughes Landing, the first office building to be constructed at Hughes Landing, a 66-acre mixed-use development situated on 200-acre Lake Woodlands. With construction underway, One Hughes Landing is 35% pre-leased.

The anticipated completion date is September 2013 for One Hughes Landing, a 197,000-square-foot, Class A, eight-story office building. PetroQuest Energy at One Hughes Landing will begin construction with the opening of One Hughes Landing, with an expected completion date in November 2013.
