THE WOODLANDS, TX - This week's Luxury Housing Report just came in and we should give a look at it so we get to know what's going on. For starters, the ILHM National Luxury Composite Price was $1,266,086, a price that has been relatively stable in recent weeks.
However, one thing that did change was the average time in the market, which was 168 days, a lesser amount of days than in previous weeks. There was a total of 23,256 luxury homes on inventory all across of the country, of which 2443 are new listings.
The median house size is of 3,301 square feet while the median lot size ranges between 0.50 to 1.0 acre.
This data is national wise. As for the Greater Houston Area, the ILHM National Luxury Composite Price was $ 1,061,577, with a media house size of 3,866 square feet and an inventory of 916 houses with 67 new listings.
With a Market Action Index (MAI) value of 29, this week was a Buyer's Market week, so if you are looking to buy a luxury home, this is a good time to do it.
