THE WOODLANDS, TX- The demand for homes sales in Houston continued to surge in October, but this may leave future buyers with limited options.

According to a report from the Houston Association of Realtors, during this last month, single-family homes sales in Houston increased 32.7 percent on an annual basis. This marked 17 consecutive months of increased transactions.

On September 9, there was a groundbreaking held for the new St. Luke's The Woodlands Lakeside Hospital at the future site. It is locate at 17500 St. Luke's Way, southwest of St. Luke's The Woodlands Hospital Medical Arts Building II.

This new site will be dedicated to provide comprehensive heart and orthopedic care. It will feature 77,830 square feet and will include 30 patients beds, 13 pre-op/post-op rooms, four operating rooms with capacity for expansion, two cath labs, and diagnostic imaging including MRI, CT and Nuclear Medicine. In-patient/out-patient procedures will also be performed here.
