THE WOODLANDS, TX - Holidays in The Woodlands Children's Museum will be filled with fun. The calendar is full of activities, as well as a number of workshops for children ages 4 through 8. The activities are as follow:

Falltivities! These half-day and full-day workshops for Thanksgiving are designed to delight young minds with the spirit of fall. Children may try printmaking with corn husks and pumpkins or creating artistic Thanksgiving snacks. Sign your child up for morning or afternoon sessions. To enroll in both sessions, register for the "lunch bunch."" Admission is $34 per session for members and $54 for non-members. Lunch bunch is an additional $5 per day. THE WOODLANDS, TX - The Texas Gulf Coast chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society will hold their annual Light the Night in The Woodlands on Market Street Oct. 20.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. and will feature face painting, games, food and more. Last year the event raised $380,000. More than 80 teams have already registered for this year's event. Tina Daugherty, executive coordinator of Interfaith of The Woodlands, said this year's goal is $450,000.

The 2-mile Light the Night in The Woodlands walk will begin at 7:15 p.m. from Lake Robbins Drive, up the Waterway, around the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and back to Market Street.

The Woodlands Waterway Cruisers, which provide catered dinner cruises for groups and corporate events, will present its Fall Series of "Evenings on Board"" dinner cruises September 22 and 29, October 6, 13 and 27, 2012.

Each ""Evenings on Board"" dinner cruise will board at 7:30 p.m. at 1212 Lake Robbins Drive, adjacent to Landry's Seafood Restaurant on The Woodlands Waterway, in the heart of The Woodlands.
