THE WOODLANDS, TX - In honor of Veteran's Day this Sunday, November 11, eighth grade students at McCullough Junior High, located in the Village of Panther Creek, created a Veterans' Day Project. Through this project students gained a greater understanding of Veterans' Day and an appreciation for the men and women who have served in the military.
With the project recently completed, the students and staff at McCullough Junior High would like to invite you to come and see the display in front of the school. The posters will be available for viewing from Friday, November 9 until Thursday, November 15.
Please invite your friends, family and especially veterans you know in The Woodlands to come view the students' work. Parking in the west parking lot, near the Nancy Bock Auditorium, will provide visitors with easy access to the display and avoid potential conflicts with traffic from student drop off or pick up.
The staff appreciates the many hours given by Jamie Benavides and the PTO volunteers who laminated, hung , and organized the display for the school. The school is also grateful to the parents of these eighth graders who helped the students locate a veteran and encouraged them to produce such quality work.
