The Club at Carlton Woods will host a 2nd Annual Carlton Woods Invitational on May 15-18 at their club in The Woodlands Tx. There will be many well known members attending this tournament, and 80 magnificent players have already sent their commitments. Edward Ibarguen, General Manager and Director of Golf at Duke University Golf Club in Durham NC is going to be the Tournament's honorary starter and speaker.
Players honored to be attending this tournament will be playing in both Nicklaus and Fazio courses and will attend social activities such as cocktails, luncheons, dinner and awards presentation.

A Tamina resident continues to fight for land he claims to own, despite losing the most recent court battle.
Ivy Bell believes he owns a 1.078-acre tract next to his home and property. The city of Shenandoah used condemnation proceedings to take ownership of the land in March 2006. Then, the Shenandoah Industrial Development Corporation sold it for commercial use. A lawsuit was filed to remove Bell from the property, but a temporary injunction to keep developers from entering the property until the issue is resolved was granted to Bell earlier this year. Last month, however, County Court-at-Law 2 Judge Jerry Winfree denied Bell's motion for a new trial in an attempt to reverse the condemnation. THE WOODLANDS, TX- Una danza tradicional del leon interpretada por la Lee's Golden Dragon Dance Troupe fue todo un exito el pasado sabado 9 de febrero en The Woodlands Children's Museum, cuando se celebro el año nuevo chino. La pagina de Facebook del museo se lleno de comentarios positivos y gracias de aquellos que asistieron al evento.
Los niños disfrutaron del baile mientras estudiantes del Club Chino de Conroe High School escribieron los nombres de los niños en caracteres chinos. Tambores, linternas y otras articulos culturales chinos fueron parte de las actividades artisticas junto con juegos de damas chinas.
