According to Director of Commercial Sales for The Woodlands Development Company, Greg Jordan, a 5-acre lot of land near I-45 on College Park Drive/SH 242 fronting College Park Shopping Center for construction of a a free-standing restaurant and Spring Hill Suites by Marriott hotel has been purchased by Raymond Management Company.

In the latter part of this year, construction is expected to begin on the estimated 135-room hotel.
