The Woodlands, Tx residents will not want to miss the Muddy Trails Bash.
The Muddy Trails Bash is an event that includes four great family events in one, on Saturday, April 3, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
You can participate in the Muddy Trails 5K or Muddy Trails 10K, both USA Track and Field certified and chip-timed, or a non-competitive event designed to promote fun and fitness for kids ages 5 to 12, the new Little Muddy Kids Race.
Located on 1,800 wooded acres adjacent to Rob Fleming Park in the Village of Creekside Park, all three courses wind through the beautiful George Mitchell Nature Preserve.
Be sure to enjoy the Muddy Bowl cook-off from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Rob Fleming Park, in conjunction with the Muddy Trails races. You can taste a sampling of the cook-off teams' food and choose for your favorite.
You will be able to enjoy live zydeco music by Tommy Dar Dar Band and participate in games, crafts and activities for the entire family. For spectators and visitors, admission is free.
At the Muddy Bowl crawfish boil, feed the entire family. Plates include crawfish, corn and potatoes. Per person, tickets are only $5.
All Muddy Trails race participants will receive one complimentary food ticket. Other concessions will be available for purchase as well.
Tuesday, March 16 through Friday, April 2 is regular registration, and you can register the day of the race on Saturday, April 3.
Through Sunday, March 28, register online on the official website for The Woodlands Township, in person through April 2, at The Woodlands Recreation Center, located at 5310 Research Forest Drive or Luke's Locker, located at 9595 Six Pines Drive, Suite 1060.
From 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., race day registration is scheduled to be held at Rob Fleming Park.
