According to Director of Commercial Sales for The Woodlands Development Company, Greg Jordan, a 5-acre lot of land near I-45 on College Park Drive/SH 242 fronting College Park Shopping Center for construction of a a free-standing restaurant and Spring Hill Suites by Marriott hotel has been purchased by Raymond Management Company.

In the latter part of this year, construction is expected to begin on the estimated 135-room hotel. According to Director of Real Estate for Raymond Management Company, Barry Perkel, Spring Hill Suites by Marriott is a Marriott product, including all suites that are 25% larger than comparably priced hotel rooms. A mini-refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee maker, comfortable beds, phone lines with voice mail and data ports, pull-out sofa beds, ergonomic workspaces with free Internet, iPod docks and Cable TV are features included in all suites.

Modern decoration with a bar in the lobby and free WiFi, complimentary fresh breakfast, a pool, a fitness center and The Market, offering fresh food on-site will all be offered by the hotel.
