The Nancy Bock Center for Performing Arts is located at 3800 S. Panther Creek Drive in The Woodlands.

Based on Victor Hugo's classic novel, ""Les Misérables"" is a saga that follows both Jean Valjean's and society's struggles with good and evil, extending through three decades of 19th-century French history.

The musical has been scheduled to a running time of just over two hours.

THE WOODLANDS, TX- The John Cooper School Second Grade recently sponsored a drive for toiletries, baby items and art supplies for the Montgomery County Women's Center and received an outpouring of items for the outreach project. Second Grade parent reps Kathy Sutton and Sabrena Austin coordinated the drive for diapers, toiletries for women and babies, and coloring books and colored pencils for the center to have on hand when families arrive.

"The drive was held throughout the month of January and the generosity was just wonderful,"" said Second Grade teacher Lynn Waple, from the school located in Indian Springs The Woodlands.

THE WOODLANDS, TX - In third quarter, real estate in Texas experienced notable gains. These ranged from increased home sales to rising property values, and they are expected to continue in the near future.

During the three-month period, there were 66,746 single-family home sales across the state, according to a report from the Texas Association of Realtors. This marked a 14.16 percent increase from the previous quarter.

Meanwhile, median home prices rose 6.46 percent from a year earlier to $161,400, the report said. Rising property values may have been the direct result of a thinning inventory. In the third quarter, the entire state had just a 5.5-month supply, which was a 1.9 percent decline from a year earlier.
