'Light the Night' walk returns Oct. 21

THE WOODLANDS, TX- Walk for a Cure. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's annual "Light the Night Montgomery County Walk"" returns to The Woodlands, Sunday, October 21, at Market Street The Woodlands.
The program will begin at 7 p.m. and the walk begins promptly at 7:30 p.m. Light the Night Walk is the nation's night to pay tribute and illuminating hope to people battling cancer. Funds raised enable scientists to continue their research.
The 2 mile walk will begin and end in Market Street. The course will take the walkers through a leisurely stroll through Market Street , Woodlands Town Center and the Woodlands Waterway. The event will also feature live entertainment, activities for the kids including mascots, face painting and refreshments.

In early July, look for a new store in The Woodlands Waterway, next to Baker's Street Pub and Grill. According to Greg Jordan, Director of Commercial Sales for The Woodlands Development Company, Berripop Frozen Yogurt is going to open a 1,150-square-foot store with indoor and outdoor seating.
Berripop Frozen Yogurt is a boutique, offering fat-free, natural, genuine frozen yogurt that is sharp-tasting and smooth.
