Impact Church of The Woodlands is scheduled to host its 24th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, starting at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 16 at the Woodlands United Methodist Church in The Woodlands, Tx.
Adult and children's choir practices start on Tuesday, Januuary 3 and is scheduled to be held in the big choir room and Sanctuary of The Woodlands United Methodist Church.
The Drum Major Award, an honor given annually to outstanding individuals nationwide, is scheduled to be presented during the ceremonies.
Nominations are being accepted through Friday, January 6.

Also, the church is hosting an essay contest and a poster concert to celebrate Dr. King.
