The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce recently held their Annual Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, September 18 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center.

Daniel Schroder was named The Chamber's Volunteer of the Year for his volunteerism to the organization. Ed Chance, Precinct 3 County Commissioner was named the Citizen of the Year for his service to the community while Janet Levesque was named Diplomat of the Year for her dedication. Randy Lovelace was recognized with the Chairman's Award for his outstanding service to the Chamber.

This year, The Chamber presented the Legacy Award to Tim Welbes and Alex Sutton, Co-Presidents of The Woodlands Development Company. The Legacy Award recognizes an individual(s) for their dedication to improving the quality of life in The Woodlands.
