THE WOODLANDS, TX- Waste Connections, Inc. hosted its 5th annual Golf Classic for Kids on Monday, March 18 at The Woodlands Country Club in Grogan's Mill The Woodlands. More than $250,000 was raised during the tournament which featured a signature live auction, food, on course contests, and a raffle. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit five charities: Interfaith of The Woodlands, Covenant House, The Parish School, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and Cristo Rey High School.

During the post-tournament reception, representatives from all five charities shared how the proceeds will be used to assist underprivileged children. ""Interfaith of The Woodlands is dedicated to providing every child the opportunities they need for a bright future. Whether it is through the Interfaith Child Development Center, our School Supply program, clothing, food, or providing gifts during the holidays, Interfaith is here to support the children and young adults in our community,"" said Dr. Ann Snyder, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.

Tournament festivities kicked off the evening before with a special cocktail reception for players and sponsors.
