According to Vice president of commercial for The Woodlands, Dan Leverett, Development Company Exploration and production company, Beusa Energy, Inc., engaged in the attainment, development, and assembly of oil and natural gas properties, has leased the top floor of the Waterway Square Class A office building in The Woodlands Waterway Square District.

Leverett states, "Companies like Beusa Energy that have been located in The Woodlands for a number of years, realize the advantages of the enhanced quality of life The Woodlands community provides for employees. In addition to a wide range of homes, excellent schools and recreation, employees in The Waterway Square District enjoy the benefits of being close to shopping, restaurants, entertainment and other business services, as well as great views of The Fountains at Waterway Square and The Woodlands Waterway.""

This December, Beusa is planning to move into the 24,592-square-foot area. The facility will be a new company headquarters for Beusa. Currently, the company is located at the 10077 Grogan's Mill Road in The Woodlands, in a 7,906-square-foot office, in the Parkwood Building. Near 30 Beusa employees will be moving to 4 Waterway Square. Still under construction, 4 Waterway Square is expected to be completed in early September. The 216,000-square-foot, nine-story, multi-tenant office building is located on The Woodlands Waterway, at the intersection of Woodloch Forest Drive and Waterway Square Place. Elkus-Manfredi of Boston, MA designed the building, and Harvey Builders of Houston are constructed the building.
