According to Vice President of Residential Sales and Development for The Woodlands Development Company, Buck Driggers, The Woodlands looks to be the initial community Toll Brothers has its sights set on in the Houston area. Toll Brothers are an award-winning company known nationwide for their reputation of building luxury homes. In the past two years, the Texas Association of Builders named them the Texas Builder of the Year.
Tupelo Woods, a Village of Creekside Park neighborhood, will be the first to undergo construction in early summer. Toll Brothers has plans to build homes in the price range of $400,000-$500,000. The plan is for pre-construction sales to open in mid-August, with the new homes being completed in Spring 2010. Following Tupelo Woods, Player Vista, a neighborhood in the Village of Sterling Ridge, is set to begin construction in September. Like Tupelo Woods, Driggers said the homes are looking to be completed in Spring 2010 as well.
Driggers said ""We are thrilled to welcome Toll Brothers to The Woodlands. Their reputation for quality building, innovative design, commitment to their customers and financial stability is outstanding. They are a great addition to our builder portfolio.""
