On Saturday November 15, The Woodlands Waterway Marriott will hold a fundraising event known as the ""Festival of Trees"" which benefits the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
This event has been taking place for three years now and it is a wonderful event where Christmas and holiday trees are decorated professionally by Rhonda Clauss of Woodlands Interiors and they are auctioned off to help raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. This great event will be set in the beautiful hotel in the heart of The Woodlands, Tx.
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundations is the leading charitable funder and advocate of Type 1 Diabetes worldwide. The reception will include hors d'oeuvres and a cocktail reception in addition to a ""Casino"" experience which will include gaming tables, roulette wheels, poker and slot machines to raise money for this magnificent cause.
There are currently corporate and individual sponsorships available for this event from $1,000 up to $10,000 for a Presenting Event Sponsor. Individual Tickets for this event are $100.
Type 1 Diabetes also known as Juvenile Diabetes is an autoimmune disease that normally strikes children making them become dependent upon injected or pumped insulin for like. This terrible disease can bring upon constant complications, this is why the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is set in finding a cure.
