Planning is underway for the 7th Annual Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival in The Woodlands, Tx, a Showcase of Visual and Performing Arts set for Saturday, April 14 and Sunday, April 15.
The event is scheduled to happen from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. along The Woodlands Waterway and in Town Green Park.
Over 16,000 people attended last year's festival.
The range of original artwork that is scheduled to be available at the festival includes clay, drawing, furniture, fiber, glass, leather, jewelry, metal, mixed media 2D and 3D, painting, pastel, sculpture, photography, textile, watercolor and wood.
In the U.S. by ArtFair Source Book, The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is ranked among the Top 100 Art Festivals.
Jenny Wright, festival director, stated ""The spectrum of art and fine craftwork displayed at The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival appeals to a wide range of tastes and budgets.""
New this year is scheduled to be ""The Art of Food"", including cooking demonstrations by chefs from area restaurants sponsored by Hubbell and Hudson.
Also, residents may visit the Art in Montgomery County area, where festival-goers may meet members of local non-profit performing and fine arts organizations.
The Woodlands Waterway is located in The Woodlands by beautiful subdivisions like Town Center and Windsor Lakes.
