THE WOODLANDS, TX - One week before the big game between both The Woodlands high schools, student from all three campuses participated in the inaugural Two Teams One Goal Food Drive a fun and friendly competition to determine which school could collect the most non-perishable food items for Interfaith of The Woodlands Food Pantry.
Interfaith of The Woodlands provided large collection bins that were placed in the lobbies of the schools and each day, the food was collected and weighed for a daily poundage count. Each morning throughout the campaign, the principals would announce to their respective students, which high school had collected the most poundage thus far. The total poundage collected between the two schools was announced during the pre-game ceremony on Friday, November 2.
College Park High School was the recipient of the Two Teams One Goal traveling trophy which was engraved with the year and total poundage collected, and students accepted the trophy during a special presentation during their campus lunch hour.
