On Saturday, March 27, the 1st ever The Woodlands Crawfish Festival is scheduled to take place at Town Green Park in The Woodlands, Tx.

The event is a new community partnership between Cure PH, the Pulmonary Hypertension Association's local fundraiser and The Chamber's Young Professionals Network.

For The Woodlands Crawfish Festival, the two committees are bringing together their previous crawfish boil events to unite.

Jack Stibbs, chair of the Cure PH Committee, stated ""We are very excited about partnering with the Chamber's Young Professionals. The Woodlands is long overdue in having a community-wide crawfish boil and The Chamber is the right partner to assist with community involvement.""

Event attendees are scheduled to enjoy crawfish, jambalaya, fried alligator, desserts and a wide range of refreshments while listening to the sounds of a live zydeco band.

A designated children's area is set to include a range of activities, including a large bouncing moonwalk, popcorn and snow cones.

""We are happy to be working with the Cure PH committee to help put on this event. Our 'under 40' young professionals group is always looking for ways to help our community by supporting worthy charities and by supporting fun activities,"" stated Dave Baker, team leader for Young Professionals Network.

For organizations or companies wanting to participate and invite employees or clients, corporate tent sponsorships are available.

Also, other sponsorship opportunities are available. For more information about the festival event, please feel free to contact Matacha Saul at 281-367-2222.
