November is here, and with it comes the festivities of the holidays that are jut around the corner! The month of November is a wonderful time to reflect on all that we are thankful for, and remember how fortunate we are to live in a wonderful nation, state and community.
Thanksgiving is a busy holiday that makes us think of spending time with family and enjoying delicious traditional dishes.
In 1621, the Plymouth colonist and the Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast witch is now know as the first Thanksgiving, but did you know that it was President Abraham Lincoln who first declared Thanksgiving a national holiday in 1863 during the middle of the Civil War?
