With the first day of school around the corner, The Woodlands Children's Museum in The Woodlands, Tx knows the thing to do to get children ready, presenting a one-day only special event, Shake The Summer Sillies Out, Friday, August 12.

Angela Colton, Executive Director for the Museum, stated ""We have a very special day planned for both parents and children as we all Shake The Summer Sillies Out celebrating a great summer. We have very special entertainment with the NutriMen and Tom's Fun Band that kids always enjoy.""

The day's events is scheduled to start with the NutriMen, a band of super heroes that help children make good decisions about nutrition, exercise and brain power, followed by face painting and then Tom's Fun Band hits the stage at 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. with 45 minutes each of dancing, fun, and laughter.

At 11:45 a.m. Magician James is scheduled to present tricks with birds, a dog and a rabbit, followed by Hoola Hooping and Shadow Dancing.

Colton added, ""We experienced a fantastic summer here at the Museum and the kids had such a great time with our summer camp programs and all the unique events we hosted.

hake The Summer Sillies Out will be a super way for the kids to transition from summer to the school year and also to move right into our Fall classes here at the Museum.""

The Woodlands Children's Museum is located in The Woodlands by wonderful neighborhoods like Windsor Lakes and Alden Bridge.
