THE WOODLANDS, TX - The Woodlands Children's Museum is joining with TOMS to help end avoidable blindness and vision impairment.

TOMS World Sight Day, scheduled for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, the museum invites visitors to join the cause – and fight for the right of sight. The museum and TOMS will prepare activities locally as part of a global awareness campaign to demonstrate how difficult life without sight can be.

The museum will have several activities for visitors during the event, Barton explained. There will also be free eye exams for children.

TOMS World Sight Day is included in the cost of admission. Daily Admission is $5 per person 2 years and older. Admission is free for children under 2 and museum members. Recommended for ages 7 years and under. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
