THE WOODLANDS, TX - The Woodlands Art League celebrated their new gallery location, with a grand opening, Saturday, February 9. Located in the vintage Woodlands area in the village of Grogan's Mill at 25136 Grogans Park Drive in the Grogan's Park Center in the Village of Grogan's Mill, the gallery has an abundance of natural light with wrap-around picture windows, ideal for the wide variety of art classes that are taught to children, teens, and adults.
An upstairs loft is available for additional art hanging, and will be beneficial when multiple events will be taking place in the gallery. In addition to individual classes and workshops, summer camps for kids are on the schedule.
The Spring Program started January 15, and will run through May 31. The curriculum will include classes in oils, acrylic, watercolor, mixed media, and pastel. Additional creative art classes will include paper making, calligraphy, printing, sculpture, photography, jewelry- making, and art history.
