Everyone is invited by the Indian Springs Village Association to be their guests on Saturday, October 17, 2009. From 12 p.m. until 4 p.m., they will celebrate the 5th annual Taste of The Village event at the Indian Springs Village Shopping Center, which can be found at the intersection of Woodlands Parkway and Kuykendahl.

The event features services and merchandise for the businesses that are contributing. Tasty free samples from a dozen food vendors, music, entertainers, raffle prizes, community/public safety services representatives and tons of fun and free hotdogs for the kids will be available this year. Over 5,000 visitors from The Woodlands attended the event last year.

The activities include live music; HE Buddy; a remote control vehicle; Puffy Pine Cone; face painting by Campus Watch and ISVA; Michael Crayton of Magical Balloons; Wells Fargo Stagecoach; Spiderman, Dora the Explorer, Elmo, Sponge Bob and other walking entertainers. Also, public education will be obtainable for all ages through exploring a fire truck, a sheriff's vehicle, and an ambulance, plus information from Indian Springs Village Association, The Woodlands Township Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Community Associations of The Woodlands.
