The new St. Luke's Lakeside Hospital in The Woodlands, TX, which is dedicated to cardiology, sports medicine and orthopedic/spine care will officially open its doors to patients on Monday, September 28, after almost two years of planning, development and construction. Located on the main campus, south of St. Luke's The Woodlands Hospital, St. Luke's Lakeside Hospital is dedicated to providing the very best in sports medicine, orthopedic/spine care and non-invasive cardiology.

The 30-bed, 77,830 square foot surgical hospital features six surgical suites, 13 ambulatory care rooms, three cardiac catheterization labs and nine post operative rooms. Diagnostic imaging is offered on site and features the newest in CT, MRI and nuclear medicine technologies. At St. Luke's Lakeside Hospital, over 120 physicians and employees are already on board the staff. Over 4,000 employment applications were submitted for the first 100 positions that have been filled at Lakeside Hospital, according to Director of Human Resources for St. Luke's The Woodlands, Mona Tucker.
