THE WOODLANDS, TX- The Knights of Columbus Council 12327 of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church at 7801 Bay Branch Drive in the village of Alden Bridge are offering their annual Fish Fry dinners during the first six Fridays in Lent. The church has become known for the place to stop for fish during every Lenten season.

The Fish Fry has become a Lenten tradition for St. Anthony's church. Each Friday during the season, one can either come into the Fellowship Hall for a sit-down dinner or use the efficient drive-through service. The Knights offer fresh certified Texas Farm-raised catfish breaded with Louisiana Fish Fry Breading, French fries, coleslaw and hush puppies.

Supporting the Knight's fish fry project allows the council to assist many great causes. These range from scholarships for high school seniors, prison ministry assistance, right-to-life organizations in Montgomery County, Special Olympic Bowling tournament, special-needs assistance, Habitat for Humanity, Eagle Scout projects and more.

The fish fry is from 5-7 p.m. Fridays during Lent at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, located on the corner of Kuykendahl Road and Bay Branch Drive in The Woodlands. The remaining dates for the dinners are March 8, 15 and 22.
