The John Cooper School, located in the Village of Indian Springs, is building the 14th consecutive Habitat for Humanity house in Conroe during the 2012-2013 school year.
The annual project is done in conjunction with Montgomery County Habitat. Work began in Cooper's Upper School parking lot on August 18 at Small Walls Day, when over 30 walls were constructed by students, parents and faculty during a three-hour ""building blitz.""
The walls were transported to the construction site in Conroe and students will work at least two Saturdays a month until the home is finished, sometime in March or April.
