One of the most prestigious retailers in Houston has signed an 11,000-square-foot lease in the mixed-use development of Hughes Landing on Lake Woodlands.
Pier 1 Imports in The Woodlands will be located across from Whole Foods Market - the national leader company specialized in natural and organic foods, as announced by The Howard Hughes Corporation and its wholly owned subsidiary The Woodlands Development Company on Wednesday.
The national retailer is specialized in imported home furnishings and decor and it’s known as one of the most important companies in the sector. Alex Smith, president and CEO of Piers 1 Imports, has shared his thoughts about the deal - he’s trusting in that residents of The Woodlands and surrounding communities will find everything they need. He also added that Pier 1 Imports in The Woodlands opening is slated for summer 2015.
Paul Layne, executive vice president of Master Planned Communities for The Howard Hughes Corporations, has stated they’re glad of having a national retailer like Pier 1 Imports in The Woodlands - and especially in Howard Hughes. He also added that some of the most appealing features of the building is that creates an exciting environment for office workers, guests and residents of The Woodlands and the surroundings.
As it’s been previously said, all those interested in The Hughes Landing will find office buildings, shopping, dining and entertainment, as well as upscale multifamily residences - which will make it one of the best places to visit within the community.
