Studies show that children learn languages best when they are young. A new preschool in The Woodlands embraces this concept, teaching students in both Spanish and English.
""Woodlands Tree House Preschool offers a bilingual program where children are instructed half of the day in English by native speaking English teachers and half of the day in Spanish by native speaking Spanish teachers,"" Director Cecilia Sanchez said.
The average class size is two teachers per every thirteen students. In the toddler class the ratio is one teacher to six students and the ratio is one teacher per eight students in the four year old class. The topics students learn vary month to month.
Enrollment is ongoing. Woodlands Tree House Preschool is located at 10240 Terramont Drive in the Village of Sterling Ridge in The Woodlands.
