Despite of being a small company and not naming a developer, architect or builder yet, the Houston-based Northstar Healthcare Inc. is already thinking big. Dr. Donald Kramer, Northstar founding partner and CEO, has announced planning on a new hospital and medical office building near Exxon Mobil Corp.’s campus in north Houston.
Dr. Kramer added that the hospital is currently planned to be near 100,000 square feet and having a 30,000 square feet medical office.
Kramer has also stated Northstar Healthcare’s willing to partnership with other medical centers - “(partnerships) are going to be critical for us to ramp up our growth.”
Exxon Mobil campus location isn’t the only goal for Northstar Healthcare - the company is currently looking for developing in Dallas and Scottsdale, Arizona markets.
However, construction near Exxon Mobil campus wouldn’t start until 2016 - being a small company isn’t the main reason. They have just announced its partnership with First Surgical Partners Holdings Inc. in order to form a new entity which objective is to operate First Street Hospital and First Street Surgical Center. They’re aiming to offer fitness and anti-aging programs and solutions as well as surgical and treatment services for community, according to Kramer.
Northstar Healthcare is also on way to change its name - they’ll be known as Nobilis Health since they’re intended to go public on the NYSE exchange and wants to have no problems with other NYSE-listed companies.
