THE WOODLANDS, TX- The Woodlands Children's Museum, located in The Woodlands' Village of Panther Creek is hosting World Sight Day on Thursday, October 11.
World Sight Day is the international day of awareness for the global issue of avoidable blindness and visual impairment.
""What people may not realize is that every 5 seconds someone in the world goes blind,"" Angela Colton said. ""This is just another example of how the Museum focuses on national and global issues and brings them local to our community, The Woodlands TX. We hope to see many of our members and friends in the Museum that day.""
The event is free with admission.
