The Woodlands Township's Parks and Recreation Department in The Woodlands, Tx is scheduled to host the Muddy Trails Bash on Saturday, April 2, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rob Fleming Park.

Runners of all ages will be able to participate in the Muddy Trails 5K or Muddy Trails 10K, both USA Track and Field sanctioned.

Located on 1,800 wooded acres adjacent to Rob Fleming Park in the Village of Creekside Park, courses wind through the George Mitchell Nature Preserve.

Also, the Little Muddy Kids Race is planned which is a non-competitive event designed to promote fitness and fun, is for kids ages 5 to 12.

New this year, the Muddy 5K9 Canine Fun Run is for runners and their dogs.

Be sure to enjoy the Muddy Bowl cook-off from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rob Fleming Park.

Taste a sampling of the cook-off teams and vote for your favorite.

Enjoy live zydeco music and take part in games, crafts and activities for the entire family.

There is free admission for spectators and visitors.

Feed the entire family at the Muddy Bowl crawfish boil, as there will be plates featuring crawfish, corn and potatoes.

Per person, tickets are only $5.

All Muddy Trails race participants are scheduled to receive one complimentary food ticket.

Additional concessions are scheduled to be available to buy.

Race day registration is scheduled to be held at Rob Fleming Park from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
