THE WOODLANDS, TX - The 2013 Woodlands CrawPHish Festival will be held 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 23 at Town Green Park, organizers announced.
It will feature a crawfish boil, additional food by Rudy's Real Texas BBQ and Raising Cane's, live music, dancing and a tent-decorating contest.
The CrawPHish Festival will also offer children's activities provided by The Woodlands Children's Museum, located in Panther Creek, and Painting with a Twist.
The 2013 festival will feature an expanded children's area with plenty of new activities.
There will be a new lineup of zydeco and Cajun-style local bands.
The festival's focus is to raise awareness for pulmonary hypertension, a condition characterized by high blood pressure in the lungs.
Cure PH, the Pulmonary Hypertension Association's local fundraiser, has raised more than $1.7 million for research since its inception in 1999.
