THE WOODLANDS, TX - Students heading down the path to an Engineering degree can now start their education at Lone Star College-Montgomery in The Woodlands.
Beginning in this spring, LSC-Montgomery will offer Introduction to Engineering (ENGR 1201), on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 11-11:53 a.m.
This primer course is geared for students interested in pursuing a degree in engineering at a four-year university. According to David Quarles, professor of math at LSC-Montgomery and engineering course instructor, this class is a requirement for most engineering programs at major institutions.
The course will offer hands-on training on the fundamentals of the engineering disciplines through labs and a group design project.
Registration for the spring semester at LSC-Montgomery begins Wednesday, November 7.
