THE WOODLANDS, TX - All Township community pools will be open on Memorial Day, Monday, May 27, 2013, from noon to 6 p.m., including the newest pool at Wendtwoods Park in the Village of Creekside Park.
Purchase a new season pool pass or renew a pool pass at The Woodlands Township Recreation Center, 5310 Research Forest Drive, or at any Township pool. If a new season pass is purchased at a pool, the pass holder must finish the transaction at The Woodlands Township Recreation Center to have a photo taken for the pool pass. A new pool pass is not necessary when renewing a season pass. The pass holder can use the same pass from the year before.
The hours of operation for The Woodlands Township Recreation Center are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pool pass forms are available on the Township Web site. Pool pass renewals can be done on the Township Web site, by phone or in person at The Woodlands Township Recreation Center. The Recreation Center will be closed on Memorial Day.
And don't forget that the only time to take advantage of the Township's newest amenity, the Voyager Transportation and Recreation Pass, is when purchasing a season pool pass. The Voyager Pass allows the resident pool pass holder a certain number of entries to the Riva Row Boat House, Waterway Cruisers and The Ice Rink at Town Center depending on the level purchased, either basic ($75) or premium ($100).
