Students at Lone Star College-Montgomery in The Woodlands, Tx are about to get the approval to use the college's new parking garage.
The addition of the new parking garage is going to make the search for a parking spot easier, 1,000 times easier.
The construction crew is currently putting the final touches on the five-level structure, but on the first day of classes for the fall semester, Monday, August 30, the parking garage is scheduled to open.
The parking garage is scheduled to offer an estimated 1,000 new spots for faculty, students and staff, and visitors to park.
The parking garage is free and is scheduled to be open for both day and evening classes.
Students will be able to access the parking garage from the campus' west entrance known as West Campus Drive, for convenience.
Lone Star College-Montgomery's campus police are scheduled to be housed in the parking garage on the ground level by the two elevators.
This will ensure the safety of all parking garage users, and provide campus police with enough space to monitor the whole campus as well.
The parking garage is scheduled to be the first construction project completed on the Lone Star College-Montgomery campus, as part of the 2008 Lone Star College System bond referendum.
In December, the other projects, which include a Health Science Center, a General Academic Center, a Music Hall, and a new Lone Star College-Conroe Center campus, will be completed.
Lone Star College-Montgomery is located in The Woodlands near gorgeous communities such as Sterling Ridge and Town Center.
