Lone Star College-Montgomery's Center for the Arts in The Woodlands, Tx is calling college students and community members to audition for the college's fall production of Private Eyes, on Tuesday, September 6 at 4:00 p.m., on the mainstage theatre (Building D).
Those auditioning are encouraged to prepare and memorize a contemporary monologue, comic or dramatic, 45-60 seconds in length.
Callbacks are scheduled for Wednesday, September 7 at 4:00 p.m. in the same location, and is scheduled to consist of a cold read.
Those selected for the cast and crew is required to enroll in Drama 1120 (Theatre Practicum).
Also, this production is participating in the Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival, and all cast and crew is scheduled to need to be available to travel with the production to San Jacinto College South October 19 -22.
Performance dates for Private Eyes are set for Thursday, October 13 through Saturday, October 15 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, October 15 at 2:00 p.m.
On Wednesday, October 12, there is scheduled to be a preview free of charge for all Lone Star College-Montgomery faculty, staff and students and only $5 for the public.
