Come to the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands to enjoy of a concert with Latin American flavor this Thursday, September 6. The Houston Symphony will be presenting works from three composers: Manuel de Falla, Joaquin Rodrigo and Silvestre Revueltas. The Latin American Classical concert tickets will have a cost of $15 for reserved seating.
The concert will feature Falla's Suites no.1 and no.2 from the ballet ""El Sombrero de tres picos"", presented with full orchestra music. Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez for Guitar and Orchestra will also be featured. Finally, Silvestre Revuelta's ""Sensemaya"", based on a poem by Cuban poet Nicolas Guillen will close the concert.
During the concert, people are invited to have a picnic whether on their seats or in the hill. Remember no drinks are allowed. Lawn chairs will be given freely to those sitting on the hill.
