Celebrate Labor Day in The Woodlands with two fun-filled nights of fireworks, live music, children's activities and more Saturday, August 31, 2013 and Sunday, September 1, 2013 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Waterway Square in Town Center The Woodlands.
The festivities kick off Saturday with the eclectic sounds of The Marlin Bando Band from 6 p.m. to 7:20 p.m. followed by The Elroys, playing the latest in rock and alternative sounds from 7:40 p.m. to 9 p.m. Immediately following the concert performances, the night sky will come alive with a dazzling fireworks display.
The fun continues Sunday with the classic rock sounds of Soulshine, from 6 p.m. to 7:20 p.m. Closing out the weekend celebration is local rock, pop and alternative trio Cold Shot from 7:40 p.m. to 9 p.m. Fireworks once again will fill the night sky immediately after the second concert.
Plus, families will enjoy strolling entertainers as well as a number of vendors offering fun and games. Both fireworks shows will start at approximately 8:55 p.m., weather permitting.
Labor Day in The Woodlands is free and open to the public. Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets and coolers to the celebration.
