THE WOODLANDS, TX - Unique dining concept, Kona Grill, will open their newest location in The Waterway Square District of The Woodlands Town Center. This is the restaurant's first location in The Woodlands, and second in the Greater Houston Area. Anticipating a late November opening, Kona Grill in The Woodlands offers a combination of upscale American cuisine, a modern bar and award-winning sushi.
Occupying more than 8,500 square feet of space at 3 Waterway Square, #100, Kona Grill in The Woodlands will be the only restaurant in the 11-story office building. As an added convenience for Waterway Square tenants, the restaurant will offer a private dining room with a TV and audiovisual equipment for meetings.
The sleek décor will include a large-scale fish tank designed by Living Color Aquariums (the stars of popular Nat Geo Wild show, Fish Tank Kings), sleek metal and mesh drapes and swanky lounge furniture. Guests will enjoy water walls, multiple fireplaces and a state-of-the-art wine rack. The nearly 1,500 square-foot outdoor patio will provide fire tables for impending cool months and decorative shade structures for long Texas summers.
Kona Grill's signature dishes, prepared in a scratch kitchen, include the Macadamia Nut Chicken, Big Kahuna Cheeseburger and a Passion Fruit Crème Brulee. The sushi menu offers rolls in three different categories: Chef's Plates, Traditional Rolls and Kona Rolls, all made with fresh fish.
Famous Kona Grill drinks include "designer cocktails"" like the Hibiscus with pear vodka, ""slender drinks"", all under 140 calories, and sake and wine options. Happy Hour runs Monday through Friday 3:00-7:00pm with a Reverse Happy Hour Monday through Thursday 9:00-11:00pm and Friday - Saturday 10:00pm-12:00am.
Kona Grill in The Woodlands is scheduled to open on Waterway Square on late November.
