THE WOODLANDS, TX - The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is inviting families out to an evening of spooky sights and sounds for children of all ages at the annual Hocus Pocus Pops in The Woodlands Oct. 11.

The event will feature the Houston Symphony and conductor Robert Franz performing songs like "The Poltergeist Polka,"" ""The Chill of the Orchestra,"" ""The Addams Family"" Concert Overture and the theme from ""Ghostbusters,"" among others. The performance starts at 7:30 p.m. and gates open at 6 p.m., with tickets for orchestra seating available for $15. Mezzanine and lawn seating are free.

Attendees are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costume for a chance to walk on stage during the concert. The first 100 children to check in at Hocus Pocus Central in the North Plaza in full costume will have the opportunity to march in the Goblin Parade.

Children can win a variety of ""spooktacular"" prizes at booths provided by H-E-B, Pavilion Partners, Fidelity Investments, Century 21 Real Estate Partners and Woodforest National Bank, among others. The Radio Disney Boo Crew will be featured at the House of Blues Hospitality Tent from 6-7:15 p.m. as part of Radio Disney's Graveyard Smash Dance Party.

Larger prizes include an opportunity to win one of three Houston Texans gift baskets with one register-to-win designated specifically for veterans and a Pavilion basket. Attendees can bring any H-E-B receipt from Oct. 1-11 to the Hocus Pocus Pops in The Woodlands event, and the drawing will take place on the main stage prior to the concert.
