THE WOODLANDS, TX - Gaze into the sky during Lone Star College-Montgomery's annual ""Star Party"" on Wednesday, November 14, at 6:30 p.m., in the Health Science Center (Building B), Room 102.

Dr. Aaron Clevenson, astronomy professor at LSC-Montgomery in The Woodlands and an expert of star observations, will make a special presentation on the details of the Percival Lowell, a famous U.S. astronomer. His presentation will be followed by an outdoor viewing of the nighttime sky from the college's soccer field.

The evening will also feature brief student presentations on types of telescopes, the Galilean Moons, stars, lunar phases, and constellations. Plus there will be a special treasure hunt with prizes for those who participate.

Students, staff, and faculty members, as well as community members are invited to attend this free, family-friendly event. No astronomy experience is required.
