THE WOODLANDS, TX - Elaine Turner, a Houston-based luxury shoe and handbag designer, plans to open a 1,600-square-foot store in The Woodlands on Nov. 29.
The location will be the company's first in the area and will include a shoe salon featuring the company's signatures hot pink, plush sofas. The space was designed to host cocktail parties and philanthropy fundraisers.
In addition to its handbags and shoes, the new location will sell clothing, jewelry, small leather goods, table-top gifts and candles.
For breast cancer awareness month this October, Elaine Turner donated 100 percent of the proceeds of the boutique's pink wrap bracelet sales to the Nellie B. Connally Breast Center at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.
Residents with homes in The Woodlands will be able to enjoy this new luxury boutique. Other Elaine Turner locations are in CityCentre and Rice Village, and the designer's line is also carried at Neiman Marcus and specialty boutiques around the country.
