THE WOODLANDS, TX - Both The Woodlands High School and The John Cooper School volleyball programs will host Dig Pink nights on Friday.

The Woodlands Lady Highlanders, ranked No. 4 in the state, hosts the College Park Lady Cavaliers in their final home match of the regular season.

The Side-Out Foundation (Side-Out) was established in 2004 to unite volleyball players and coaches and to have them work toward the common goal of furthering breast cancer awareness, education and patient services. The Side-Out Foundation is a support and advocacy organization dedicated to making a significant and identifiable difference in the lives of breast cancer patients and their families by supporting clinical trials, increasing compassionate support services and educating communities.

The John Cooper School volleyball team is once again pairing with the Side-Out Foundation/Dig Pink to help raise money to fight breast cancer. Cooper is sponsoring its second annual ""Pink Week,"" October 15-19, in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Events are planned all week culminating with the varsity volleyball's ""Dig Pink"" game vs. Houston Christian at 7 p.m. Friday. There will be fun activities before the game such as face painting and much more, as part of the spirit-filled event that will begin at 5 p.m. in the Middle/Upper School Gym.
