It's almost hard to believe that September is already here, but having started the new school year we can remember how much fun summer was in The Woodlands!

Lets highlight the July 4th activities in this article. From the float planning party to the parade itself, College Park was ready and willing to take part in the patriotic festivities! Our float theme was "Texas Patriots"" where we highlighted the patriots who took part in the Battle of the Alamo.

We had residents dressed up as Bowie, Crockett, Travis, Susannah Dickinson and many more riding the float. We were exited to highlight our Texas heritage, but also to recognize their patriots from all over the world who helped Texas on the road to independence that would eventually lead to us being the Lone Star State for the great USA!

Thank you to all the residents of College Park who attended the float planning party at Harper's Landing pool to make our float and this event such a success. From chowing down hot dogs, to taking a quick dip in between building and decorating the float, everyone had a great time, and we were proud to be part of the festivities as Bronze sponsors of the 4th of July celebrations. Also, the school year brings much activity around the community, including football season and many other activities for our very own College Park High School.
