Hello to all once again from Alden Bridge! September is usually one of our hottest months, so continue to keep cool in our community pools! The pool at Lakeside Park will continue to be open on Labor Day and weekends through September 30. This way you'll have additional time to enjoy the water.
The monthly Alden Bridge Residents' Meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 11, at 7 p.m. at the community Associations building, 2201 Lake Woodlands Drive. Residents are encouraged to attend the meetings we hold. Don't hesitate to ask questions, give us your praise and notify us of your problems. You can also send your concerns to info@aldenbridge.org.
Help us usher in the fall with our Fall Festival, scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, at Lakeside Park. This in a one-time only event to replace our rained-out Spring Festival. This event will have all the attractions of the Spring Festival without the egg hunt. The whole family can enjoy rides, booths, food, raffles and tons of fun! Also, volunteers are needed to represent Alden Bridge at the Fall Flea Market.
All village associations share in the profits if we meet our quota of volunteers, and our share goes directly to our scholarships fund. It's a awesome chance to get first peek at the bargains being offered! Please contact info@aldenbridge.org for additional information. This event will be on a Saturday morning but the date was not finalized as of press time.
Last Yard of the Month winner will be awarded for this year in October, so send in your nominations to info@aldenbridge.org. Winners receive a nice gift card from Lowe's, tickets from the Pavilion, and a delectable goodies from Chick-Fil-A.
The e-mail newsletter of village news continues to be published monthly. Please send your e-mail address to info@aldenbridge.org to join the mailing list. Your e-mail address will not be shared and will be used only to distribute news of Alden Bridge.
