THE WOODLANDS, TX - 4th of July in The Woodlands will be amazing, as the master-planned community has numerous events planned to help local families celebrate this holiday. There will be activities for the whole family to enjoy:
- Festival, fireworks The Woodlands Convention and Visitors Bureau will host the annual Red, Hot and Blue Festival 6-10 p.m. in Town Green Park and Waterway Square. The free festival will feature vendor booths, concessions, and hot dog and watermelon-eating contests and the annual Red, Hot and Blue Fireworks Extravaganza, presented by BBVA Compass Bank.
- Splash Day The Woodlands Parks and Recreation Splash Day events offer Township residents free admission at any of The Woodlands' pools 10 a.m.-6 p.m., with July Fourth-themed activities noon-4 p.m.
- Bike parade The parks and recreation department will host ""Things That Go"" Bike Contest and Parade 4:30-5:30 p.m. at Northshore Park, 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive. Contestants 14 and younger can decorate their bicycle, tricycle, scooter or wagon 4:30-5:15 p.m. using provided materials or ones from home. Entries will be judged at 5:15 p.m., with a parade to follow.
- Concert in the Park The July Fourth Concert in the Park will be 5:30-9 p.m. at Northshore Park, in Panther Creek, with live music by Hope Cassity.
