Montgomery County Habitat for Humanity has announced plans for its 2nd annual "Road Rally"" benefiting Montgomery County Habitat for Humanity's inaugural Women Build.
""Rev it Up!"" is the theme for this year's event, set for Saturday, October 6 at BMW – Mini Cooper in The Woodlands, Texas.
Check-in starts at 3 p.m., followed by the rally at 4 p.m. and winners' circle celebration at 6 p.m.
Habitat's Road Rally is an adventure that takes drivers, ages 25 and up, to a series of destinations with clues and challenges along the way.
Barbara McGregor, Event Chair for Women Build, stated, ""Our drivers had a wonderful time last year, even though a few of them got a little off course! We had families, groups of friends, and couples all driving together and creating fun memories. The competition was fierce!""
Registration for the rally starts Saturday, September 1, and is limited to 25 drivers of cars provided by BMW-Mini Cooper and 25 drivers who drive their own cars.
Per car, the cost is $220, with up to four people per car.
The winners' circle celebration starts at 6 p.m. after the rally, including dinner catered by Crescent Moon Wine Bar.
The cost to attend the party is $55 per person.
Drivers are welcome to bring friends and family to celebrate with at the finish line.
Dana Tyson, Sunny 99.1 radio personality and Women Build spokeswoman, is scheduled to be the emcee at the celebration.
